Skaters are strongly advised to wear gloves while on the ice. Long socks are also recommended. A selection of gloves will be on sale from the on site Box Office.

A selection of drinks and snacks will be available from the KRO On Ice chalet.

The ice rink arena is accessible to wheelchair users and there is a ramp in place to gain access to the ice rink. The On Ice staff are available to assist. Organisers recommend that wheelchair users are accompanied onto the ice by a competent skater. Disabled toilet facilities are available on site.
